Septic Rebates In B.C.

Looking to upgrade your septic system or replace some components to the system? Well, we have some great news for you. The regional district of Nanaimo offers some great rebates when you are looking to upgrade or improve your septic system. Below is a chart of the rebates the RDN is giving out for your residential septic system:

Step 1:

The first step to attaining a rebate from the RDN is to complete the online application linked below:

Step 2:

Hire an authorized person (ROWP) to complete the work. An Authorized person has to be registered with ASTTBC and can be found on this website:

Step 3:

Pay the invoice of the work completed and submit your claim to the RDN using the link below:

https://www.rdn.bc.ca/septicsmart-rebate-claim-form

It's that easy!

Be sure to submit an application BEFORE the work has been completed by an authorized person. Also, these rebates are only available in the RDN zoning as of right now.
